- Thirty-year commercial line: Marder began selling an expanded TreeSize for 35 DM by early 1997 while still a student - 'Ich dachte, wenn nur ein Prozent der Leute bereit wäre, für eine TreeSize-Version mit mehr Funktionen zu zahlen, dann könnte daraus was werden' (Volksfreund profile). Siemens bought a company license early on.
